auto display scsi devices on boot

I remember reading something in the last few weeks where there is a variable
in either rc.config of sysconfigtab which will force the scsi devices being
displayed instead of just the lists of host bus adapter during boot into
single user mode. I dunno if I can find that param now when I really need
it. Anyone recall this trivia?
