This message is beyond the scope of this newsgroup,
but
I trust the knowledge very much in this group. I just
took on a task of implementing a Tru64 mailserver
(5.1a) that connects to an HSZ50. To anticipate the
growth of this company. I was asked not to raid the
disks for i/o purposes. The objective is to partition
the mail directories accordingly; for users with the
name starting from A-C would go on dsk0, d partition;
users from D-F, would go dsk0, e partition, users from
G-I, would go on the A partition on dsk1, and so on,
and so on. From the mail newsgroups, I have heard that
qmail is ideal; but I've heard sendmail can do it as
well but not as easy as qmail. If anybody would like
to share their advice or experience concerning this
matter, please reply. Again, sorry for going beyond
the scope of this newsgroup.
