Reading old software product CDs

Hello -

I need to load an old software set from the October 2000 Software product
library disc (MPI from pse190). Unfortunately my systems with 5.1 and 5.1A
refuse to mount these discs. I get console messages referring to an Ultrix
file system. Did something change between 5.0A and 5.1 that is keeping me
from mounting these CDs that are older than about April 2001? Is there some
way to get either 5.1 or 5.1A to mount these?
