HELP! Using vrestore to restore all file systems

I vdump'ed all my file systems on my 4.0E system
prior to starting an O/S upgrade.

I went to 4.0G, then 5.1, and prior to going to 5.1A,
I did a:
/sbin/advfs/verify
on my filesystems and got a Domain Panic on /var,
so now I need to vrestore. (I tired some of the
remedies in the AdvFS Guide, but /var is still inaccessible.)

Obviously I can't vrestore just the /var filesystem because the
vdump was done on a 4.0E system and the system is currently
at 5.1.

How do I restore everything back to my original 4.0E system?

Do I need to boot from a 4.0E O/S CD?

What vrestore command do I need to restore the root, usr & var f/s's?

My vdump's looked like:

vdump -0uf /dev/nrmt0h /
vdump -0uf /dev/nrmt0h /usr
vdump -0uf /dev/nrmt0h /var

Not the way I wanted to spend my Saturday :-(.

Thanks a lot
