Hi all,
I 'm facing one problem related to remote printing on Tru64Unix version 5.1A:
Printer type : Panasonic KX-P3626
Connected with Intel Server (Windows2000) on Centronix (Parallel Port).
This Intel server is on the Network and can access Alphaserver DS20E through Ping or Telnet.
I have tried configuring this printer using lprsetup:
:dmp=:\
                 :sd=/usr/spool/hp5l:\
                     :ct=remote:\
                 :lf=/usr/spool/hp5l/log:\
                 :rm=win2k:\
                 :rp=win2k:
win2k Intel server is given IP address which is defined in /etc/hosts of Alphaserver.
But when I give:
#lp -ddmp <filename> or #lpr -Pdmp <filename>
entry remains in spool area & doesn't print.
Please advise & if possible send a sample printcap file.
Thanks & regards.
Vimal
