Thanks for people's input. My situation has changed a little, and maybe I'm
barking up the wrong tree anyway. In short, is there any way to remove
files by date (hour)? I have files in a /tmp directory that I want removed
if they are two hour (or more) old. I couldn't find a find expression by
hour, or anything for remove. Right now I've been trying to write a script
to ls -l /tmp, sort it by date (time), awk that column, cut just the hour
and somehow compare it against the current date (with just the hour cut out)
and act on it- i.e. remove it if it's to hours old. There *has* to be a
better way :) If anyone is so inclined, feel free to input.
Thanks again
Rich
