Trying to build virge

Hello,

I'm trying to build and application called virge which integrates
the sophos (anti-virus scanner) into sendmail. It has a call for
check_loadavg. I cannot find any info to duplicate the call for Tru64. Does
anyone have ideas for correcting this problem?
                                                        
I have the following setup:

sendmail-8.12.5
procmail-3.22
gcc-3.0.4
                                                                                
virge-3.04rc3
sophie-1.40rc1
Sophos Anti-Virus 3.59
                                                                                
                                                                                
                                                                                
make for virge returns the following error:
