My continuing saga...
Briefly: fresh install of Digital Unix 4.0e on an AlphaStation 255
Remote logins fail with:
> ssh ezylstra_at_dizzie
ezylstra_at_dizzie's password:
Too many users logged on already.
Try again later.
Connection to dizzie closed by remote host.
Connection to dizzie closed.
Now I see in syslog.dated/auth.log:
Aug 11 20:34:24 dizzie sshd[460]: Accepted password for ezylstra from
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 1695 ssh2
Aug 11 20:34:24 dizzie sshd[485]: audgen(LOGIN): Permission denied
Aug 11 20:34:24 dizzie sshd[485]: fatal: Couldn't establish session
for ezylstra from bmc
I run audit_setup (maybe that's the problem?), rebuild kernel, move
new kernel into place and reboot. Same problem.
So I look into the syslog files again:

This doesn't look good.
Also, I have just been notified by S. Dowdy _at_ U of Colorado, Boulder,
that there is a patch for openssh on Tru64. I'll try that, but I
have no idea whether it would cause the above errors. Which is
responsible for my issues, I don't know (if either).
