DS20E SRM test command crashing

Hello,

This is not really about Tru64, but I don't know where else to
turn to for help.

I wanted to include the SRM test command in the general test
procedure for a customer. However, it always makes the system
freeze. The question is:

How to run the SRM test command so that it does not put the system
in a freeze mode?

The system is AlphaServer DS20E. The SRM version is V6.2-1.
