SUMMARY: DS20E SRM test command crashing

Hello,

A colleague ran the test on the VGA console and it has worked
flawlessly. When I tried on the serial line, it would leave my
keyboard unusable. Hence, the question should have been if it's
possible to run the test over the serial line.

I suppose that one of the test procedures somehow interacts with
the serial communication. Also, the DS20E reference guide
mentions the '-omit' option where one can specify devices which
should not be tested. This option is not accepted by this SRM
version.

If anybody knows how to run the tests over the serial line, see
the results over there, and be able to do some typing afterwards
I'd still like to hear about it.

Thanks to

for the support.

Cheers.

Dejan
