In the output of "last" I occassionally see things like:

LOGIN dtremote Mon Aug 19 12:44 - 12:45 (00:00)

What is "dtremote" and who is "LOGIN"? What are these entries from?

The consensus is that these entires are due to the normal activities of
dtlogin when dealing with remote X servers (such as on Windows PCs) and
not anything to be concerned about.
