/etc/exports limit in 5.x?

        Hi!

  We once had our NFS-fileserver on Tru64 4.0E, and we noticed that
/etc/exports had a limit of 256 hosts. We were told by local Compaq
engineers that the limit would be changed in 5.1A, but haven't been able
to test it in practice.

so, does anyone know what the limit is nowadays?
