Hi guys,
Iam posting this message for the second time.

I have to build a 2 node cluster DS20E tru64 5.1A.

I am using personality module BA356 shelf which has 6
disks, i am able to see only four outof 6 disks.
This is because the three disks are old from digital
and have different serial numbers(2-5-2), but same
IEEE unique identifier,so the wwid created for these
three disks is same and so i see only 4 disks( three
new 1 old) and other two disks are shown under this 1
old disks as below.

sdp1:root:/> hwmgr sho scs -full -did 6

        SCSI DEVICE DEVICE DRIVER
NUM DEVICE FIRST
HWID: DEVICEID HOSTNAME TYPE SUBTYPE OWNER
PATH FILE VALID PATH
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
  106: 6 sdp1 disk none 0 3
   dsk17

      WWID:0c000008:0000-00ff-fe00-0000

      BUS TARGET LUN PATH STATE
      ------------------------------
      1 0 0 valid
      1 1 0 valid
      1 2 0 valid

The IEEE unique identifier was seen by show inquiry
pages on page 0*83 as below
Device Identification Page:

                         Page Code: 0x83
                       Page Length: 48

                          Code Set: 0x2 (identifier is
ASCII)
                   Identifier Type: 0x1
                 Identifier Length: 32
          Vendor Unique Identifier: SEAGATE ST136475LC
     3AM03AM5

                          Code Set: 0x1 (identifier is
binary)
                   Identifier Type: 0x2
                 Identifier Length: 8
       IEEE Unique Identifier (EUI-64): 0xfffe000000

Is there any way i can chage the IEEE unique
identifier on this page( which is used to create wwid)
or create other wwid??

Thanks
Jay
