Memory Channel vs Ethernet based clustering

Dear Managers,

Would you recommend the use of a ethernet based cluster instead of a
memory channel based cluster for Oracle RAC? We are trying to reduce
the cost of a new hardware configuration. Are there any special
precautions to be taken for when using an ethernet based cluster?
