Seems to be some confusion -- the cluster in this case would be the client,
mounting an nfs share on a machine outside the cluster. I've been told that
serving nfs on something other than the default alias is a feature of 5.1A,
but what about as a client?
Thanks,

Subject: NFS mounting?
Given a TruCluster (5.1 pk3) that has the default alias on a semi private
network.
(Cluster serves a database used by some front end webservers that are on a
gigabit
network only existing between the cluster and web servers). We have the 100M
ports
configured on our regular subnet for administrative purposes and stuff.
We have a need to mount a server outside of the private network where the
DEFAULTALIAS
lives. Is there a way to do an nfs mount from something other than the
default alias?
thanks,
