maxuprc part 2

Is there a way to increase the max-proc-per-user with
the sysconfig command on the fly?

I have a productions system that I'd like to do this for
without a reboot.

I've tried sysconfig -c max-proc-per-user=512
  
           sysconfig -o proc max-proc-per-user=512
 
           sysconfig -r proc max-proc-per-user=512

etc...
