In a recent posting, "Tru64 Unix 5.1", the conclusion was that Tru64 5.1
Standard Support will end in Feb 2003, and that the appropriate path would
be to upgrade to Tru64 5.1A. (

My question for the Tru64 Managers is, what are the main differences between
5.1 and 5.1A ?

Would I expect anything different from the commercial
engineering/technical/CAD programs as far as support under 5.1A? The apps
work fine under 5.1.

It sounds like the 5.1 to 5.1A upgrade is relatively painless, but I want to
be sure the applications I have will still work.

The environment I have is two ES40 systems, clustered via memory channel,
sharing disks through HSG60s (fibre channel).

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
