Hi all,
Thanks for the immediate reply from Premjit Nair. I also found the same mail from Achieves. I think this is a typographical mistake in Oracle Installation Guide.

Hi managers,
Thanks to Phil Baldwin, Billy Barnett and Jay Leafey. The concensus is
that Oracle can't spell, or at least they didn't proof read their
documentation properly !
Cheers,
Rob

Subject: Oracle 9i installation
Hi managers,
I'm just reading through the installation requirements for Oracle9i
database, which state that I need to have the Operating System package
OSF11 installed.
As I can find no reference to OSF11 anywhere, I'm guessing that this is
probably a typo in the documentation, and that it should read OSFX11.
Could someone please confirm this for me...
Thanks,
Rob Leadbeater
Thanks & regards.
