Actually the error was /var/tcb/files/_db_lock.share instead of tcp
(typo by me the first time around). Those files already exist on my
machine and should in an NIS environment. I am certain that this isnt a
problem before patch# 892.000 (Log in Requests hang when Enhanced
Security Enabled) is applied in patch kit 5 on Tru64 5.1. I have tested
it extensively on a test machine. If you change UsePrivSeparation to no
in sshd_config it will work. Or if you back out this patch it will
work. It would be nice to hear from Dr. Blinn or someone at HP who
works with these patches on the reason for this, Im sure that there is a
relevant reason due to security for it.
