Using second port on HSZ80

I have a couple of ES40s hooked up (via a SCSI hub) to a couple of
HSZ80s in dual-redundant mode. I am periodically seeing some I/O loads
that are approaching the 40 MB/s bus speed between the ES40s and the
HSZ80s.

I have some extra hardware (from a test setup that is going away):
another SCSI hub, two KZPBA-CC adapters, and the associated cables. Is
it okay to put a second KZPBA-CC in each ES40, the second SCSI hub in
the BA370 enclosure, connect to the second port of the HSZ80s, and set
some IDs to use the second port instead of the first port?

I am not looking to do multiple bus failover because I have some HSZ80
partitioned storagesets. I am just looking to manually shift some
devices to the second bus to balance the I/O traffic between the busses.

I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble.
