SDLT device LVD?

Hi all,

I have a DS25 running Tru64 v5.1
I attached a SDLT device on the on-board SCSI controller, but the device
doesn't show up, even on the SRM prompt

Is the SDLT device switchable diff/single-ended? I'm not sure if the
onboard SCSI controller in the DS25 is SE or LVD, I saw that the cable
used is a 16ft (5M) (!) long cable. Can that be the cause?
