stopping auditd

I experimented with turning on auditing and now want to turn it off
because of the space it burns, but can't. sysman doesn't seem to have
a way of just turning it off after you've configured it, and I can't
see how auditd gets started. I don't have it in rc3.d, I've removed
AUDITD_FLAG with rcmgr, and it's not obviously started from inittab.
Any clues? (This is on 5.1B if that's relevant.)
