possibly unsupported HSZ configuration

I have two 4100 running 5.1 that are standalone machines. But they both
are attached to a (1) RAIDARRAY 3000 using HSZ70s. I have 4 disk units
configured on the 3000 but take special care to only mount a specific unit
on a specific machine (unit 1 & 2 on machine 1 and unit 3 & 4 on machine
2). HP support tells me this is not a supported configuration because a
reboot of a machine will cause a SCSI bus reset that could cause file
corruption on the other machine.

I do backups every night, have been running this way sine 2000 and hardly
ever reboot these machines so I don't feel particularly vunerable... but it
is the first time I've heard of this issue.

So, is it an issue?
