Maximum Tru64 IDE drive capacity

I just threw a 250GB IDE drive into a DS10, running Tru64 5.1A PK3. It
only sees the drive capacity as 131072 MB (2^28 sectore). I suppose
this is the "old" ATA protocol limit at play (in the controller or in
the OS/drivers?) but just wanted to check - is that right (in which
case I assume there will be no way around this!)?
