clu_bdmgr.conf format

Greetings,

I am looking for any documentation on the format of clu_bdmgr.conf found in
/cluster/members/{memb}/boot_partition/etc.

In particular, the 4th field. What conditions would cause it so have 'q'
instead of 'm' ?
