On the specific server was a UPS connected on one first COM. port.
On the other port was a cable connected with a old printer on it. We
unplugged the connector and hope that was the problem. That message occure
only when the server reboot.

It looks that the /dev/tty1 device receive some signals and noise from it.

We have for a customer 6 AlphaServer 1200 running using Tru64 4.0G.
All the servers are qua hardware en OS / Patches the same.


One server give this message after reboot:
# tail /var/adm/messages
Apr 13 20:34:34 <hostname> vmunix: acerint: overrun error; status = 63
Apr 13 20:34:34 <hostname> vmunix: ace1: input silo overflow.

Can someone pointed me to a solution for the 'problem' ?
