Hot swap of HSG80 controller or cache modules

Managers,

Has anyone successfully replaced 1 HSG80 controller / or cache module in a
NSPOF SAN while running Alpha Cluster Tru64UNIX 5.1A?

I had tried the hot swap procedure running 5.1 and it crashed my system.
