Hi,
I didn't receive anything on this yesterday, so I'll try again.
I checked the archives and read whatever I was able to find on setting
LC_TIME and I still need help.
Basically what I would like to do is be able to do an "ls -l" and display
the date portion in numerics.
locale -ck LC_TIME displays this:
LC_TIME
abday="Sun";"Mon";"Tue";"Wed";"Thu";"Fri";"Sat"
day="Sunday";"Monday";"Tuesday";"Wednesday";"Thursday";"Friday";"Saturday"
abmon="Jan";"Feb";"Mar";"Apr";"May";"Jun";"Jul";"Aug";"Sep";"Oct";"Nov";"Dec
"
mon="January";"February";"March";"April";"May";"June";"July";"August";"Septe
mber";"October";"November";"December"
d_t_fmt="%a %b %e %H:%M:%S %Y"
d_fmt="%m/%d/%y"
t_fmt="%H:%M:%S"
am_pm="AM";"PM"
era=
era_d_fmt=""
era_year=""
t_fmt_ampm="%I:%M:%S %p"
era_t_fmt=""
era_d_t_fmt=""
alt_digits=""

so it appears like I have all the pieces, so how do I do the "ls" command?
and how would I change the LC_TIME variable to reflect a numeric MDY?

TIA
