HSZ50 and errors

Hello,

I have a few files in an AdvFS fileset which trigger IO errors when I
try to read them. The domain does not panic, the read simply fails.
The messages in logs are accompanied by messages about an error counter
in a device being incremented. The device hardware id is 95 and
corresponds to /dev/cport/scp1 which is the HSZ50 controller.

I don't have DECEvent or SWCC installed. My question is how can I
further diagnose the error. I don't want to run verify on the domain
only to find that it happens again. Should I have DECEvent and/or
SWCC? What if I do not? Is it an extra license?

Thanks,
