gurus,

I did not make my self clear in the previous mail. THe problem we have is
the program we are trying to debug crashes without creating a core file on
4.0g.
However run on 5.1a, and the program crashes creating a core file. My
question is why do I get a core file on 5.1a and not on 4.0g. Is there some
odd setting. I am not running C2 security. I have checked that the user
running the program has the correct permissions and ownership.

Any ideas

Gurus,

A question. We have some buggy code, that core dumps on 5.1a and creates a
core file, but does not create a core dump on 4.0g. Anybody got an answer on
this.
Yes I know we must fix the code, but that is what we are attempting to do as
the code was originally developed on 4.0g.

Regards

Unix like TeePee no windows, no gates, Apache inside.
