Hi
I have a DEC AlphaStation 500/400 running Tru64 4.0E. Our root disk (Seagate
ST32550W rz28d) has recently died.
I spoke with Seagate and they recommended a Seagate ST318406LW. Will this work
in my AlphaStation? Someone else told me I would have to get a special disk
firmware revision in order to use an off-the-shelf disk in my machine. Does
this special revision have anything to do with the disk type, i.e., rz28d?
Thanks for your help
Wayne
