  Hallo,
I got number of replies. But every one mentioned about booting
with genvmunix. I have upgeaded the Firmware
   SRM CONSOLE V7.2-2
In my previous enquiry I had forgotten to mention very important point.
Sorry for that. Tom remind me about this point. Thanks.

The point is: I donot see the card in SRM console.(sho dev) I have the
old card for FDDI still
in the machine. I see that card. I cannot remove this
card since there
is a SCSI connection is on this board. I use the slot
9. (32 bit connection) for
                      the new card.

  Previous Question:
  ==============

        "Hallo,
I want to replace the FDDI card with a 10/100 mb card (3X-DE600-AA)
in an AlphaStation. I donot see the card when I inserted it.
Can I use this card in this machine?"

     regards and thanks in advance,
      Sreekumar
