hi'

I try to mount a directory between my linux server to an alpha client by nfs.

When i told the client to mount, i have this message :

NFS Portmap: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Timed out

Are the versions of NFS on redhat and tru64 4.0F compatible? Is there some setting that I need to adjust?

- on the client :
# ps -ef | grep mountd
root 369 1 0.0 06:17:08 ?? 0:00.01 /usr/sbin/mountd -i

# ps -ef | grep nfsd
root 371 1 0.0 06:17:08 ?? 0:00.00 /usr/sbin/nfsd -t8 -u8

on the server : no problem to mount with other redhat system

thanks
