Hi all,
Thanks to all who responded: Dr. Thomas, Chris, Iain, John, Dicko & Phil
Baldwin.

Though I installed Tru64 Unix 5.1B again on the Server without any
problem but I believe following option works smoothly for downgrading
the version:

>>>set bootdef_dev ""
