We have a Loader that seems to work at hardware level but is not being
showed on Tru64
>From the console we see the device
mki600.6.0.10.1 MKI600 OVERLAND L490E 0629
jki601.6.0.10.1 JKI601 OVERLAND L490E 0629
In UNIX we only see the robot on /dev/change/mc1 with SCSI-ID = 0
May be a problem with a LUN different from 0 ??
In Tru64:
# hwmgr show scsi -id 106 -full
SCSI DEVICE DEVICE DRIVER NUM DEVICE FIRST
HWID: DEVICEID HOSTNAME TYPE SUBTYPE OWNER PATH FILE VALID PATH
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
106: 20 quijote changer none 0 2 mc1 [8/6/0]
WWID:04100024:"OVERLANDL490E 000000000000"
BUS TARGET LUN PATH STATE
---------------------------------
8 6 0 valid
8 6 1 valid
It doesn't make sense that we see two valid paths here.
# scu show edt

...
In messages we can see:
cam_logger: SCSI event packet
cam_logger: bus 8
spo_bus_reset_rspn
Bus reset request from adapter detected (reason = 0x6)
cam_logger: SCSI event packet

Can anybody help ??
I can't find any info on supported options (hardware) for a specific version
of an Operating System.
best regards
antonio
