cloning primary system Disk

Hi All,

What's the best method to clone a system disk? I have a disk that I
think is ready to go bad, and I'd like to be able to clone it before it
decides to go south for good. This will save me a great deal of time
and headache from having to reinstall the OS and configure everything
all over again. Any suggestions?
