Hello Managers,

What is the effect of the following entry in the /etc/group file?

    ::0:

I have noticed this entry on a system which I am working on. It is not a
normal entry in the /etc/group file so I thought that I would ask about it.
SAP is installed on this system and I believe that the folks who setup SAP
may have also created this entry in the group file. It appears to be a null
group name in the system group. What is the effect of having this entry in
the group file?

Thanks for any feedback you can provide on this.
