64 bit Question

   Hello,
    We are having number of Tru64 machines with OS v5.1A.
    I just to want to know the following:
    Whether the real and integer operations are done in 64bit. mode
    (default I mean) or I have to specify explicitly with 'f90' command?
    We use mostly fortran compiler.
