I need a little help with the upgrade from 5.1 to 5.1b this
morning......everything seems to have gone fine except that NIS users
cant login. If I change their password they are fine but there are
literally several hundred of them so I dont want to change them all by
hand :-) I looked at the /var/tcb/files/auth.db file and it is still
intact so I dont think it was overwritten. The /etc/passwd has the +:
at the end so it should be looking there and in fact does because once
I changed my own password I can login again. If I go into dxaccounts
and click on a NIS user it tells me the account is locked because the
user has no password. I know its something trivial but........any
help appreciated.
