I guess I wasn't clear enough. Now I can focus more on the actual problem.

 From what I remember.
In the SRM there are commands relating to the CPU's.
Example
Component Status Module ID
CPU0 F B2041-AA DECchip (tm) 21164A-2
CPU1 F B2041-AA DECchip (tm) ?????-?

I need to know what command to check this. I need to know that both of the new CPU's are
the same.
I can probably do a show config from SRM and get the info I need.

Also how do I go about updating the firmware to make sure both of the new CPU's will be
the same??
