V5.1A vs. P5.1A

I've noticed that /usr/sbin/sizer -v produces different output on
two Tru64 systems:

sfeehan_at_structure:sfeehan $ sizer -v
Compaq Tru64 UNIX V5.1A (Rev. 1885); Sat Mar 22 13:25:09 EST 2003

sfeehan_at_maple:sfeehan $ sizer -v
Compaq Tru64 UNIX P5.1A (Rev. 457); Sat Aug 24 11:19:42 EDT 2002

One difference is that the first is called V5.1A and the second
is P5.1A. This came to my attention since the autoconf was mis-
guessing. It was calling the system "alphaev67-dec-osfp5.1"
which wasn't matching the "osf5*" in configure scripts.

To my knowledge, the 'P5.1A' is a recent change but I can't
point to a particularly likely cause.

Also, why the different Rev. numbers? They are both running
5.1a w/ service pack 3 installed.

And finally, does the date imply when the kernel was compiled?
If so, the second date (Sat Aug 24 11:19:42 EDT 2002) is
wrong as the system wasn't even installed at that date.
