summary: suppressing cron output

After trying a lot of variations on that cron command line that was causing
extra emails to be sent, I'm back to basically the same command as before
(more or less):

/usr/sbin/dirclean -t +2 -o -k scpb /tmp/ >/dev/null 2>&1

the only difference was that I corrected the part where the parameters after
-k were separated by spaces. This command above was still causing those
emails to be sent, so the redirection wasn't working, but it now seems to be
working again, as I haven't got any more of those emails in the past couple
of days.

Therefore I don't really have a clear fix:
there you see it... there you don't... Go figure!!!

(this was tru64 5.1b with patch 1 from the distribution)
