I have a system that seems to have some advfs corruption on the root drive -
bad file number errors etc. So I'm trying to boot off the CD and do a verify
etc. Problem is, the CD is coming up and crashing with this error:
The attempt to rename disk devices from the previous system disk has failed.
This is a fatal error and causes the installation procedure to stop.
syncing disks... done
CPU 0: Halting... (transferring to monitor)
Any ideas, I'll probably be calling HP support shortly, but this is often
faster.
