hi all -
my overnight backups to an HP DLT4000 8-tape library have just started
failing with the following error

remove_semaphore(): semctl() for fifo_ready_semid: Invalid argument

anyone any idead what this means ?
this is on an AlphaStation 500/500 with Tru64 v5.1 PK6.
if i 'manually' load a tape using mcutil i can read/write to it OK but
my backup shell script produces the errors above.
