Managers,

I have a AIT50 tape with 2 vdump savesets on it, / and usr. I am wanting to
put them on disk so I can restore them to another machine over the network.
I have tried
dd if=/dev/tape of=/usr/tmp/SS1 then dd if=/dev/tape of=/usr/tmp/SS2

But when i do vrestore -t -f /usr/tmp/SS1
I get a load of errors, and a core dump. Is it do with block sizes and if so
what should they be?.

The tape drive is a AIT50, /dev/rmt0h and OS V4.0D

TIA
