Hi all,

The general consensus was that vmstat is available. Also i confirmed that.

So we can use vmstat. Also for swap we have swapon command.

No significant replies for how to use collect.
Anyways, i shall summarize once again as what all things i did to get the
information.

Regards
Himanshu

Dear all,

We have requirement whereby we need to do performance analysis.
To gather the data i need the performance related commands.

The person who has access to the system claims there is no vmstat, swapinfo
command available.
Can anyone confirm this. What i came to know from my collegue is that it
does have vmstat command? Pls confirm.

Also does digital unix ver 4.0D has utlity named collect? Pls confirm.

It would be of great help if anyone can give me sample commands to use
collect. I can't do that since i don't have access to the system.

Basically we need to have CPU stats, memory stats, iostats, network stats
for various proccesess, disk subsystems.

DO let me know any information you have thanks.
I shall summarise my approach & end result.

Thanks in advance,
Himanshu
