Hello,
thanks to everybody for the answers. I was told to write the following in
SRM:
At the console prompt (blue screen), type:
>>> add_mach64
>>> init
>>> isacfg -mod -slot 5 -handle MACH64 -dev 0 -etyp 1 -enadev 1
>>> init
>>> add_de205
>>> init
But now I get this:
When I turn the machine on, it shows:
Error (ena0), Network station address ROM has a bad checksum.
This is what it shows when I'm trying to boot it from CD, to install the
V4.0E:
...
le0: can't read station address
le0 not probed
apecs_read_io_port: illegal handle 0x4
panic (cpu0): apecs_read_io_port
DUMP: No primary swap, no explicit dumpdev
Nowhere to put header, giving up.
halted CPU 0
halt code = 5
HALT instruction executed
PC = fffffc0000434bf0
I guess I shouldn't have added a network card:), but I just followed the
instructions step by step:). Maybe I should remove it or do something
else, but I don't know how:).
when I try to boot in graphics mode (init 3) with the version already
installed, I get the same as before - it turns off.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot,
Best regards,
Karina
