Crashed HD and no command line bios

One of our 600au's has a crashed HD. The System boots up into a
weird GUI, which seems to insist on running WinNT or installing WinNT
or booting up only off a WinNT hd.

I have the CD for Tru64 4.0x (or lots of newer stuff), but I can't
get it to boot off of it. I've found a screen to add the CD to the
boot menu, but it still will not boot off of the CD.

Any ideas?

thanks,
James
