RA3000/HSZ22 to RA7000/HSZ70 upgrade

Does anyone know if its possible to remove disks (that are
non-transportable) from an HSZ22 and connect them to an HSZ70? I know you
can do it when going between an HSZ70 to an HSG80. The goal is to move
the disks over to the new controller without the delay of having to
restore from tape.
