I'm looking at two-factor authentication for Tru64 and find that RSA's
SecurID no longer supports Tru64 with sdshell. I've found a substitute
called tacshell that is a TACACS+ authentication shell that works like
sdshell but uses a TACACS+ server. Since RSA's aceserver includes TACACS+
authentication (the TACACS+ server passes the securid conversation both
directions) this allows me to use RSA's server without unreasonable effort.
The only current limitation to tacshell is that it hard-codes the user shell
that is spawned so that everyone gets the same shell.
Is anyone else using tacshell?
Has anyone coded a better shell selection mechanism?
